Who We Are
Dr. Malcolm Friedman
Dr. Friedman is a board certified Radiologist in Connecticut. After graduating Harvard College Summa Cum Laude, Dr. Friedman earned his Medical Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to do an internship in Internal Medicine, a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology, and a fellowship in Computed Tomography and Ultrasound at the University of California, San Francisco.
He practiced General Radiology in New Britain, Connecticut, and New Orleans, Louisiana, before joining the staff as attending Radiologist at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, Connecticut, where he did Body Imaging for over 20 years. Most recently he has been a Radiologist at the VA Health Care Center in West Haven, CT. He has held staff positions at two other Connecticut hospitals. Dr. Friedman is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the Yale University School of Medicine and has held teaching positions at Quinnipiac University and the University of Bridgeport.
Dr. Robert Lehman
Dr. Lehman is a board certified Radiologist in Connecticut with additional board certification in Nuclear Medicine. After graduating Syracuse University Summa Cum Laude, Dr. Lehman obtained his Medical Degree from New York University School of Medicine. He went on to complete an internship in Medicine / Pathology and then a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at NYU Bellevue Medical Center. Dr. Lehman also completed a Nuclear Medicine fellowship at the Manhattan VA Hospital.
Dr. Lehman was a founder of Naugatuck Valley Radiology Associates, and has practiced at St. Mary's Hospital (where he was Chairman of Radiology); he also has held staff privileges at Connecticut Children's Medical Center and Gaylord Hospital and has held leadership positions at St. Mary's Hospital, the Connecticut State Medical Society and the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center.
Dr. Marcus Conti
Dr. Marcus Conti is a board certified Radiologist and Neuroradiologist. After graduating Oberlin College with a B.A. in Economics and receiving Doctorate of Medicine from University of Toledo College of Medicine, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine in the Yale Primary Care program. He then completed a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology Fellowship at Yale. Dr. Conti was an attending Radiologist at Yale and the VA Connecticut Healthcare System before moving to private practice, participating in the Peer Review and Peer Learning processes at both institutions in committee and leadership roles. Dr. Conti has worked on multiple transitions from Peer Review to Peer Learning models of continuous quality improvement.
